IN GOLDEN WEEK

I have a lot of plans for Golden Week. I'm so excited, because Golden week is fun! But during Golden week, everywhere is crowded so sometimes people can't go to where they want. I hope we can go to a lot of places. I want to go to Disneyland and DisneySea, because my birthday is in May. And I really want to go to an "Onsen", which is a very big bath, and I want to eat a lot of delicious food! I will enjoy Golden Week.

The Big Picture - A Book Review

I liked this book because it made me feel excited. I hope you will read this book.

One day in Tokyo, there was a photographer named Kenji Harada. Sometimes photo companies bought his photos but it did not pay a lot of money, so he was not rich. His wife Sachiko wasn't happy because she wanted money. In Tokai Photo Agency, Kenzaburo Yoshimoto is a big name for a small man. Kenzaburo said, "Go to the Tokyo Garden Hotel at 10.30." There were Takahanada and his girlfriend Kumiko Okada. Takahanada was a famous sumo star in Japan. Kenji wore a suit and he tried to take their pictures and he took a taxi. When he came to the Garden Hotel, there were about twenty-five photographers and they took pictures of Takahanada and Kumiko Okada. Next to the hotel, there was a cafe so he went to there and he saw Takahanada and Okada Kumiko going into the cafe. Kenji thought he will get money if he takes pictures of Takahanada and Okada Kumiko. After he took pictures, he took a taxi and someone tried to hit Kenji because he wanted Kenji's pictures of Takahanada and Kumiko Okada, but he was gone. When he came back to his home and he opened his darkroom, there was a mess because someone was in his darkroom. Kenji called the police and they said, "Maybe next time he'll kill you." Kenji went to Tokyo station and he put the film in locker number 93. He went to out of the station and he got a taxi, but a car stopped next to Kenji and a man pushed him into the man's car. The men put something over his eyes and he couldn't see anything. The man asked Kenji about the film and Kenji said, "Locker Number42" and the man pushed him into the man's room and the man went to find the number 42 locker. The man came back to the room and Kenji punched the man in the face and he went outside. Kenji said,"Stop stop," and he held up his hand. Soon a car stopped and drove him to Tokyo. Kenji told Uchikawa of the Tokyo Police about what happened and they went to Tokyo station. They saw someone trying to open locker 93, so Uchikawa told the three police and they caught the man who tried to hit Kenji and the man went to the jail. Kenji went to the photo company and he gave Takahanada and Kumiko Okada's photos to them and he got a million yen and Kenji's family was happy.

A man killed 32 people in Virginia

At Virginia Tech University, Cho Seuny-Hui killed 32 people. After he killed 32 people, he killed himself. Mr. Cho moved to the United States from South Korea with his family in 1992. Classmates thought his personality was dark. Also neighbors thought Mr. Cho was a quiet man when he played basketball by himself. Mr. Cho was a 2003 graduate of Westfield High School in Chantilly and he went to Virginia Tech. Mr. Cho was stalking two women that and he killed. Mr. Cho’s plays are about a fight between a son and a father who kill each other. Police don't know why Mr. Cho killed 32 people.

He was so crazy, because he killed 32people and he always thought crazy things. I think he was worried about his personality and he didn't have any friends so he killed 32 people.

      My weekend

On Saturday, I walked my dog and I studied. At night we ate chicken, vegetables, rice and soup. On Sunday, my Mom, my Grandmother and I went to "Nihonbashi" because we wanted to go to "Takashimaya", which is a big shopping center. My grandmother bought me clothes. I was so happy! We walked around the shopping center. At night, we ate dinner. I ate "soba", a type of Japanese noodle. My Grandmother and my Mom ate seafood - it was so delicious. After dinner we went to a food court and bought many kinds of "mochi", a food made from rice. My favorite kind of mochi is "mitarashi dango", it is sweet and delicious. We went home and we slept. The next day I ate "mochi"
      - It was so delicious!

Essay 1: Being strange is not always bad

Being strange is not always bad. First of all some strange people make us laugh, like comedians make me laugh. My favorite comedian is Taka and Tishi. Yesterday I saw one man. He sang in the park. He was so funny and he was so interesting. Some old men say good jokes. I think old men have lots of jokes. Futhermore some strange people are kind. My teacher Jonathan teaches me good science and he is a good science teacher. Another teacher, Joshua, always talks to me when he sees me. He is very funny too. My teacher Charly is very kind and some times he says funny jokes. Finally some strange people are pathetic. Some homeless people don't have houses. They live in the street, but they are trying to be normal people. Some poor people don't have enough money, but they are trying to find jobs. In conclusion, being strange can be very good sometimes.

      JUST LIKE A MOVIE

This story is fiction but it seems like a true story. I like this story because it is about love. I like love stories! When you read this book report and if you like it please read the book JUST LIKE A MOVIE.

One day, in Toronto, Canada, Brad Black went to a movie and he saw a woman. Her name was Gina and they talked to each other. Soon they fell in love with each other and Brad wanted to marry Gina, but they were poor.
On Saturday they went to see a movie called Dead Money. It was about a man and a woman. They were poor and the woman wanted money so she married an old rich man and when he died, she got money and she married her young boyfriend. After the movie Brad thought money was important, but Gina thought money was not important.
The next day he met a very rich woman named Carrie. He was a handyman so he went to her big house. They talked a lot and Brad thought Carrie liked him. Brad thought he wanted life to be like a movie and get money so he told Carrie, "I want marry you," and Carrie said, "Yes."
One day Brad went to Vancouver because he married Carrie. One day it was so windy so he needed to fix the roof of the house so he went up and he told Carrie, "I need your help," because he wanted to kill her. Brad pushed the ladder and he tried to push her off but it didn’t work.

In the morning he couldn't find Carrie so he called the police and he told them about what happened. The police asked Brad many questions and he answered all of them. After that he found a beautiful pen. It was Carrie’s and he put it in his pocket and he went to the lake because he thought if he put the pen in the lake, the police will think Carrie is dead. So he put the pen in the lake. The next day the police called Brad and they told him that Carrie is dead. Brad got money so Brad and Gina went to the airport because they were going to Paris. When they came to the airport, some police came and the police wanted to talk to Brad so they went to a room and Brad saw Carrie, who was not dead. Carrie explained to him about what happened when she was not in the house and Brad was surprised because Carrie and Gina were friends. The police said to Brad, "You have to go to prison for five years." Brad said to the police, `Why do I have to go to prison?" The policeman said, "Because you tried to kill Carrie."
One day in the newspaper there was an article about Gina and Carrie and it said "Just Like A Movie."

      Our new KAIS in Jiyugaoka

Last week, we moved to Jiyugaoka. The new Kikokushijo Academy International School is better then the old one in Daitabashi because the inside is very big and clean. Also, the new school has a second floor so we have a lot of classrooms, like a history room, a Science room, a Computer room and some more. But I miss the old Daitabashi school too. There are many old houses there so we saw old people everyday but in Jiyugaoka, there are young people walking too. In Jiyugaoka, there are many shops around the station so sometimes we go to cafes or shops. We are enjoying Jiyugaoka. We have a new student in our school so we are so happy! Also in September, many new students will come to my school so we are very excited.
