Racism

Some Japanese restaurants have signs that say "Only Japanese," because some Japanese people are still racist against black and white people. If black and white people see that, they will be sad, because they don't understand why Japanese people don't like them. One day, a black baseball player was popular so some Japanese people stopped being racist. Some Japanese people haven't met a lot black and white people so they are racist against them. If Japanese and other people met and talked about where racism comes from and how they can stop it, they would stop racism. I hope people stop racism and they will be happy and like each other.

My weekend

On Saturday, I went to my grandmother's house and I picked up my dog Cookie. When we came back home, we relaxed and we went on a walk with my dog. The next day, I had to go to my aunt's house so I took Cookie to my grandmother's house and I went to my aunt's house. I ate dinner at my aunt's house and I ate cake too, because my birthday is this week. She gave me clothes and her brother gave me a small ATM machine and my aunt's parents gave me money. I had a good weekend and I was so happy!

Photography Exhibit

Next Tuesday, my school will go to a Photography Exhibit call Ashes and snow. I've never been to a photography exhibit so I'm excited and I want to see a lot of pictures. I don't know why people take pictures. When I take pictures I'm so happy and it is fun so I think photographers must enjoy their jobs. Pictures are important because they show what happened and record memories.

My Weekend

On Saturday, I went to a shopping center and I bought some socks and other things. The next day I went to a flower shop because it was Mother's Day so I bought flowers for my mom. I went to my grandmother's house because we had a mother's day party. At dinner we had delicious food and I gave the flowers to my mom and my mom gave flowers to my grandmother. My mom and grandmother were happy and they said thank you to us.

In the morning I went to Disney Sea. When we came to Disney Sea we got into the "Disney Train" to go to Disney Land and Disney Sea. When we came to Disney Sea, I went to all of the attractions. At night, we went to restaurants and we ate dinner and watched shows. I had a good time this weekend.

Dolphins

There are 30 kinds of dolphins. Some dolphins live in saltwater and freshwater dolphins live in rivers. Dolphins have different colors: gray, black, white and pink. They have a flippers, tails and blowholes. Dolphins use sound when they want to find food and places. Dolphins' enemies are sharks and people. Sometimes, adult dolphins fight back. Adult dolphins run when sharks attack them. Sometimes dolphins get caught in fishing nets. If the nets trap the dolphins, they can't breathe. Killer whales are the largest of the dolphin family. Killer whales kill dolphins and blue whales and other animals. Blue whales are large animals too.When calves (baby dolphins) are born, female dolphins help calves breathe. Females gave milk to young dolphins for three years.

I learned a lot about dolphins. I have a dream that I'll get a diving license. I want to swim with dolphins one day.

Jiyugaoka Green Street

Today my school and I went to Green Street and we saw a lot of shops and people. I didn't know Jiyugaoka, so I learned a lot about Jiyugaoka, but I want to know more about it. We took pictures of restaurants, clothes shops and other shops. When I walked in the tunnel, I saw old Jiyugaoka pictures, I was so interested. We are going to make an internet site and we will put up pictures. I hope people will look at our picture and they will come to Jiyugaoka.

The best of my golden week

The best part of my Golden week was when my grandmother and I went to "Kabuki", which is people who cover their faces with makeup and wear kimonos and act. My aunt gave us Kabuki tickets. In the afternoon, we went to the kabuki theater and we bought lunch and we sat in our seats. The Kabuki people spoke Japanese but I didn't understand, because they spoke old Japanese, but it was funny. I was so surprised because some men acted as women. Afterward, we ate lunch, it was so delicious. After we ate lunch, we went back to our seats and watched Kabuki again. When Kabuki was finished, it was 9:00pm so I was tired, but I had a good time. I want to go Kabuki again!
